I finished staining the dresser yesterday. It doesn’t look great, but it doesn’t look terrible either. All that is left to do is to get some new knobs for it, and it will be ready to take its place in my room. I wish I had a picture to post, but I put my camera up out of my son’s reach and can’t remember where that place is. My hubby has been working hard on our pallet-board walkway. I can’t wait until I find my camera so I can brag on his project. He found some spare pallets and managed to put them together in such a say that it actually looks like a small deck. The strange Florida weather has started warming up again and I doubt that we’re in for another freeze as it is almost March. I hope to get my lemongrass and sage into the ground pretty soon so it can repelling pests and I’ve ordered some party supplies. Things are coming together with a little hard work.
This weekend is Disney. I don’t know if it’s possible to have a minimalist Disney experience, but we’re giving it a try. I got a great Florida resident rate at a hotel that has a free shuttle to the park and we plan

on taking snacks and juice boxes so that we don’t have to stop and buy something everytime my little one needs a pick me up. I did splurge and make a reservation at ‘Ohana, the restaurant at the Disney Polynesian Resort. They do character breakfasts, so it should be fun for my little guy. Of course, he isn’t familiar with Lilo and Stitch, so tonight I rented the movie so that he’ll have some idea of what he’s seeing when they show up at breakfast. Since we’re splurging for breakfast we’ll probably take some sandwiches with us for lunch so that we aren’t having to spend money everytime we eat.
I’ve been putting together a list of everything we need to take with us so that we don’t forget anything. I would love to hear your suggestions. What would you take to make your magical day a little easier?
